Director, PDS Projects

Overview

Project Development Services (PDS) Director leading strategic planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction and project management initiatives.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic direction to ensure projects align with organizational goals and client requirements.
• Develop and apply best practices, methodologies, and standards across the project portfolio.
• Oversee multiple large-scale projects to meet on-time, on-budget, and quality targets.
• Manage plans for schedules, budgets, and risk management and make resource/scope/issue decisions.
• Lead and develop project management professionals and build high-performing teams.
• Serve as senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Develop budgets/forecasts and monitor project financials including revenue recognition and cost control.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive project management experience.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing complex construction or real estate projects.
• PMP or CCM (or equivalent) certification strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Procore, or similar).
• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
