Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Overview

Project Manager for civil engineering responsible for planning, execution, and control of civil maintenance, facility upgrades, and capital projects.

What you'll do

• Lead planning, scheduling, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects and infrastructure upgrades across plant and non-plant facilities.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and engineering teams for civil project design and execution.
• Oversee proactive monitoring and improvement recommendations for maintenance of buildings, utilities, and civil structures.
• Manage contractors/vendors including identification, evaluation, and regular performance reviews for safety, quality, and timelines.
• Handle tendering, BOQ preparation, technical evaluations, and purchase order execution.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, and cost estimates; monitor expenditures and drive cost optimization while maintaining budget compliance.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and QA requirements; implement corrective and preventive actions and maintain related documentation.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8 years of civil engineering experience with project execution in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Degree preference: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (or relevant Diploma in Civil Engineering with experience).
• Experience requirements include planning, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects.
• Accountable for contractor management and monitoring safety, quality, and timelines.
• Responsible for budget utilization, contractor bill verification, and documentation for civil projects and GMP compliance.
• Must deliver safety and cGMP training to contractors and workmen.
