DIRECTOR - Private Equity Fund Accounting (Gujarat - GIFTCity)

Overview

Lead a team of more than 20 fund accountants delivering end-to-end private equity fund accounting services, with a focus on service-level delivery, controls and people management.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of 20+ fund accountants.
• Ensure all SLAs for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly activities are met.
• Oversee all ongoing service delivery activities, including booking daily journal entries, management fee calculations, accrued expense reimbursement calculations, valuation of investments, financial and investor report preparation, and ad hoc reporting, so that clients receive high-quality service.
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures and internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets and record all financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
• Design and implement controls to deliver quality work.
• Motivate and mentor people to make them successful in their individual roles.
• Review and test control processes on a regular basis to deliver quality service to clients.
• Prepare MIS reports for onshore and offshore management teams.

What you'll need

• Strong experience in end-to-end private equity fund accounting.
• Experience with financial statements, NAV calculations, waterfall and IRR calculations, and capital calls and distributions.
• People management experience.
