Director, Technology Engineering & Innovation (TE&I) – India

Overview

Lead Micron's India-based Technology Engineering & Innovation organization in Hyderabad, overseeing infrastructure engineering, operations, automation, reliability engineering, and service management. Build and scale a high-performing organization supporting global IT infrastructure and transformation priorities.

What you'll do

• Lead managers, engineers, architects, operational teams, and technical specialists across India.
• Build Hyderabad into a strategic center for infrastructure engineering, operations excellence, automation, and innovation.
• Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, resilience, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Drive automation, AIOps, AI-enabled operations, platform modernization, and process optimization.
• Establish metrics, service-level objectives, operational disciplines, and accountability frameworks.
• Partner with global technology, security, cloud, networking, application, and business stakeholders.
• Manage operational budgets, staffing plans, resource allocation, and infrastructure investment planning.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, technology engineering, and operations.
• 8+ years of experience leading managers and senior technical leaders.
• Experience leading infrastructure, engineering, operations, or platform organizations in semiconductor or product-based technology companies.
• Experience leading organizations of 50+ professionals.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams and enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, automation, observability, SRE, and service management.

Nice to have

• Experience building and scaling large technology organizations in India.
• Experience leading infrastructure teams in Fortune 500 or similarly large global enterprises.
• Experience with cloud transformation, automation, SRE, AIOps, or platform engineering.
• MBA or master's degree in a relevant field.
