Distinguished Engineer – AI/ML

Overview

Distinguished Engineer (AI Architect) to lead the intelligence layer for a next-generation security platform, serving as the technical authority on AI strategy.

What you'll do

• Define and architect the AI runtime system architecture, including agentic workflows and RAG systems.
• Set the modeling and fine-tuning strategy for model selection, domain tuning, and embedding approaches.
• Design evaluation frameworks and runtime guardrails to keep AI outputs safe, deterministic, and audit-ready.
• Co-design the AI data fabric with feature stores, semantic indexes, and low-latency vector retrieval for real-time inference.
• Drive R&D into production by evaluating and commercializing emerging AI paradigms into production-ready software.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of software and systems engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading and deploying complex machine learning, NLP, or deep learning systems into enterprise production environments.
• Proven track record architecting production-grade generative AI systems.
• Deep expertise in model training, alignment (RLHF/DPO), prompt compilation, and orchestration frameworks.
• Deep understanding of distributed training and inference, including optimization techniques and cloud MLOps infrastructure (AWS Vertex/SageMaker, Kubernetes, or custom GPU stacks).
• Ability to rapidly master security domain contexts (log formats or threat intelligence).
