Overview
Research emerging fraud trends across voice, messaging, and email channels, using AI tools and large-scale event analysis to protect Twilio’s network and customers.
What you'll do
- Research novel emerging fraud trends with AI tools.
- Analyze large-scale messaging and voice traffic for fraudulent patterns, including AIT and ATO.
- Work with data scientists to develop machine-learning fraud detection models.
- Stress test the network for vulnerabilities.
- Design and execute proactive fraud mitigation strategies.
- Investigate high-impact fraud incidents and provide root-cause analysis.
- Monitor fraud and bot-detection industry trends.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in fraud investigations, trust and safety, or security analysis.
- Experience in a high-growth technology environment or large-scale distributed systems.
- Advanced skills in complex data analysis, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Proven experience designing and executing fraud mitigation strategies.
- Strong cross-functional incident-response leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate security risks to technical and executive stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in CPaaS, telecommunications, or payments.
- Familiarity with machine-learning concepts in fraud detection.
- CFE or CISSP certification.
Details
- Remote role in the United States.
- Not eligible for hiring in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
- Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.
