Overview

Engineer responsible for developing and supporting secure, scalable Workday applications, integrations, and web services using Java and API technologies.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy applications in Workday Extend and Orchestrate.
• Develop REST and SOAP integrations, web services, and event-driven processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
• Support releases, upgrades, and regression testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 6–10 years of overall experience with hands-on technical development.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Workday certifications in Extend, Compensation, Reporting, HCM, or related areas.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.
• Experience with additional Workday modules, including Compensation and Core HR.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development concepts.
• Experience in global or enterprise-scale Workday environments.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and workflows.
