Backend Java Developer- Assistant Vice President

Overview

Backend Java Developer at Assistant Vice President level responsible for designing and developing integration services and APIs for Core DDA systems.

What you'll do

• Design and develop services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, OpenShift, AWS, and API Gateway.
• Assist with solution estimation and scoping against business requirements.
• Contribute to solution architecture documentation.
• Design integrated environments for availability, efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Provide input to technical infrastructure design.
• Develop proofs of concept and development templates.
• Apply CI/CD and DevOps principles.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software development experience focused on API or services development.
• Experience with one or more of Spring Boot, Apache Camel, OpenShift, AWS, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with an API Gateway such as Apigee.
• Experience with JSON, XML, YAML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Ability to collaborate with global teams during flexible working hours.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or JMS.
• Experience in the finance domain.
