Engineer - Controls Platform NPI

Overview

Engineer role in the Controls Platform NPI team, focused on design, development and validation of next-generation HMI platforms, virtualization and networking, with an emphasis on CI/CD and automated deployment.

What you'll do

• Drive and evaluate emerging technology and features in next-gen platforms and applications.
• Create customized product documentation for internal and external customers.
• Partner with Technical Leaders, System Architects, and Product Owners to design and build software automation solutions that enable consistent, high-quality product deployments with minimal human intervention.
• Translate product specifications and NPI outputs into structured, executable automation processes that eliminate manual steps and reduce deployment risk.
• Develop and maintain standard work, continuously improving standardized deployment documentation and automation for HMI and AI platform, networking, and cybersecurity products.
• Implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for applications to reduce manual configuration and deployment time.
• Develop automated testing frameworks that simulate complex networking and HMI platform scenarios to ensure secure-by-design releases.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's or Master's or above in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Controls-Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Automation or equivalent.
• Self-motivator with a desire to learn next-gen technologies, cybersecurity and OT networking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective problem identification and solving skills.
