Engineer - Data and Batch Operations

Overview

Engineer for batch and ETL data operations supporting high-availability, high-performing data platforms in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end batch and ETL data operations including validation, integration, and downstream distribution.
• Define, build, and track data accuracy KPIs to support data quality and accuracy.
• Establish and maintain batch/ETL job lineage to meet governance and operational standards.
• Oversee inbound and outbound data process integration and execution.
• Monitor, triage, prioritize, and assign data operations intake via ServiceNow and other channels.
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize for increasing data volume and complexity.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Operations/ETL/Batch Processing.
• 7–10 years of working experience in the role areas.
• Experience with commercial scheduling tools such as AutoSys or BMC Control-M.
• Strong AWS expertise, including Apache Airflow, for cloud-based ETL and real-time pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including Incident, Service Request, Change, Problem, and Knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with IT and business teams.
