Engineer I Software Development

Overview

Engineer I Software Development role focused on building and delivering full-stack web applications with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and quality.

What you'll do

• Design and develop rich user interfaces using Blazor and ASP.NET Core.
• Build, test, and deliver new product features while improving performance and quality.
• Ensure the full stack is designed for security, speed, and scalability.
• Implement new features, improvements, and bug fixes as agreed with product managers.
• Join software and product design discussions and participate in peer code reviews.
• Write automated tests and investigate/recommend new technologies or libraries.
• Develop solutions for cloud using Azure.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the listed full-stack skills.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Blazor.
• Experience creating/consuming REST API / Web API using Entity Framework or similar ORM or service-oriented architecture.
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and approaches.
• Proficiency in at least one database technology such as MS SQL or SQLite.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals including Clean Code, SOLID, design patterns, OOP, and unit testing.
