Engineer II Interoperability

Overview

Engineer II Interoperability responsible for verification of medical device digital interoperability and ensuring devices meet system/interface requirements for connected healthcare integrations.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain interoperability verification requirements with traceability to system/interface requirements.
• Develop and execute verification plans, test cases, and test procedures for interoperability requirements.
• Run system-level and interface-level verification testing for device-to-device and device-to-IT connectivity.
• Support system integration testing for connected medical device solutions.
• Collaborate to ensure interoperability designs are verifiable and testable.
• Assess interoperability-related changes and determine verification impact and required test coverage.
• Troubleshoot interoperability defects and generate compliant verification documentation and evidence.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in medical device or regulated product development with a focus on verification activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Biomedical, Computer, Electrical, or related discipline).
• Systems engineering background with requirements management, traceability, and verification planning.
• Hands-on experience with system, interface, or integration verification testing.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, organization, and analytical work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Working knowledge of clinical workflows and intended use for representative verification scenarios.
