Engineer - Inspection Technologies

Overview

Engineer - Inspection Technologies works on robotic nondestructive inspection and signal/image processing of NDE sensor data to support manufacturing and services.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation solutions.
• Design and develop prototype NDE systems for quality and services problems.
• Build emerging nondestructive methodologies such as autonomous drone-based inspections.
• Support ongoing NDE development with testing and qualification of new inspection modalities.
• Analyze field and test data from sensors and provide insights via analytics.

What you'll need

• 1 year of hands-on technical engineering experience, including internships at R&D/manufacturing units.
• Solid understanding of sensors and data acquisition.
• Solid understanding of signal processing.
• Hands-on experience integrating sensors, mechatronics, and inspection equipment.
• Broad knowledge of NDT techniques and procedures (e.g., radiography, ultrasonic, eddy current testing).
• Experience with software including MATLAB, LabView, Python, and/or Java.
