Engineer- Sensor Test

Overview

Sensor Test Engineer (Qualcomm Sensing Hub) working as an individual contributor to test sensor-related features and ensure seamless context exchange.

What you'll do

• Test Qualcomm Sensing Hub features for Qualcomm products.
• Plan, develop, and execute test cases, including hands-on lab and field testing on mobile/handheld products.
• Develop test automation modules and automated test cases using C# and Python.
• Verify and calibrate sensors in embedded hardware integrating Sensing Hub.
• Test communication and information sharing between devices embedding Sensing Hub.
• Automate, maintain, triage, and isolate test issues across test framework components and embedded SW/HW.
• Drive resolution of issues with sensor and other technology/target teams; support debugging with SW development and system teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–4 years of work experience with testing embedded systems and developing automated test cases/frameworks.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++.
• Prior experience with developing and/or debugging embedded code.
• Exposure/experience on AI tools and applications.
• Prior experience with Android application programming and programming experience with Java/Python.
• Must have strong debugging and isolating skills and excellent communication.
