Engineer / Sr. Engineer - SQA - Plastic & Tooling

Overview

Engineer / Senior Engineer in Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) for Plastic and Tooling, responsible for supplier selection, quality validation and incident management within the assigned region and commodity.

What you'll do

• Provide to the PG or RO Sourcing Committee supplier selection recommendations on the supplier capability proposed for sourcing for the commodity in the assigned region.
• Validate with the purchasing network that VRFs are updated according to Group standards, including LLCs / Book of Defect / Commodity Check List, Design standards and SPPC Tracking Sheet.
• Use the SRM PQA module for all project components.
• Strictly respect the SQM (Supplier Quality Manual) and validate the AQP.pp deliverables.
• Raise to Project Quality and Project Purchasing and Commodity Purchaser all technical issues encountered by suppliers requiring a modification of the drawing, specification or VRF.
• Validate PD and CA for incidents created by a supplier in the assigned region and commodity, in compliance with Group reactivity standards: 24 hours / 5 days / 10 days.
• Validate and propose closure for CSL1 and CSL2 requests issued to a supplier by a Valeo site in the assigned region and commodity, or for RUCSL in case of new components.
• Support the Group Segment SQA Leader in preparing Top Worst Suppliers meetings when supplier improvement is required.
• Own the key indicators for the assigned region and commodity: SISV approved before Valeo FDPR and 100% deviation before Valeo FDPR in case of delay; CP incidents and C3M incidents (C1 / C2 / Wr) for components in production; incident recurrence; PQA status granted on time; rejected YIS.
• Be responsible for the rejected YIS recovery plan.
