Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager role responsible for managing and developing a software engineering team, ensuring delivery quality and security standards while aligning with architecture and agile/DevOps practices.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and less experienced managers.
• Ensure adherence to Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional requirements per release.
• Engage with architects to incorporate technology strategies and understand application migration paths.
• Identify and drive resolution of technology roadblocks across code, build, and deployment.
• Serve as a technical representative for the product during cross-team planning.
• Act as an escalation partner for scrum masters and teams to remove impediments.
• Conduct peer reviews, guide design, and ensure security, stability, and scalability.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via experience/training/military/education).
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot technology stack.
• Experience in UI development using React/Angular.
• Experience building/developing in private and public cloud environments.
• Experience in GenAI technology stack and LLM models.
