Engineering Manager

Overview

Leads and coordinates technical work and IT deliverables, partnering with project management, clients, architects, and application teams. Manages development teams and contributes hands-on to application, data, cloud, security, and architecture work.

What you'll do

• Lead and coordinate technical deliverables for websites, databases, and IT functionality.
• Manage onshore and offshore development teams.
• Define technical requirements and deliverables with project teams and clients.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and deploy code.
• Develop and approve technical project timelines and delivery schedules.
• Lead best-practice design and system architecture efforts.
• Coordinate technical deliverable priorities and support staffing and pricing activities.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of related data engineering experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Postgres, Oracle, and Databricks.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, and Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience with web sites, web services, and interactive technology.
