Engineering Services Practitioner

Overview

As an Engineering Services Practitioner, provide end-to-end engineering services and develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management, including authoring and proofreading Service Bulletins (SB) for all programs.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become an SME.
• Participate actively and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with project requirements and business objectives.
• Document and communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to enhance engineering processes and methodologies as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to foster professional growth.
• Author and proofread SB for all programs.
• Perform Standard SB, Transverse and upgrade services of SB.
• Collect documents and information to support SBO creation.
• Provide customer support for engineering request analysis and resolution of operational and engineering requests for operators of Airbus civil aircraft in service.
• Create and revise Service Bill of Material.
• Study engineering drawings and work with international aerospace standards ATA 100, iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
• Create CRP relations with configuration management analysis.
• Create and modify VSB.
• Perform quality checks on STD and upgrade services of different types of SB.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience.
• At least 5+ years of experience in creation and modification of SB documentation for Airbus civil aircraft only.
• 15 years full time education.
• Must have skills in Aerospace & Defense (A&D).
• Experience in Standard SB, Transverse and upgrade services of SB.
• Knowledge of Cabin, Connectivity and Systems on A320, A330, A350 and A380 fleet.
• Knowledge of international aerospace standards ATA 100, iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
• Knowledge of VSB creation and modification.
• Tools knowledge of SAMM, GIPSY, GIDOCA, AIRINA, IMS, DACAS and AIRNAVX.
• Ability to understand and use ASD-STE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in Front office query management.
