Expert Software Engineer

Overview

Expert Software Engineer II to build scalable microservices and drive technology forward for fintech/healthtech solutions.

What you'll do

• Build scalable microservices using Node.js or .NET on Azure.
• Apply modern architectures using DDD principles and clean APIs.
• Partner with product, design, QA, and business teams to shape solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from whiteboard to production.
• Improve engineering quality through TDD, automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, and mentorship.
• Optimize architecture, performance, observability, and engineering practices.
• Use cutting-edge tools (including AI) to accelerate development, testing, and documentation.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience at a software product company.
• Hand-on experience with unit/integration test automation and strong TDD discipline.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET (Node.js or similar frameworks a plus).
• Experience building cloud-native microservices or microfrontends with event-driven patterns.
• Experience integrating with Azure SQL/CosmosDB.
• Modern DevOps experience including CI/CD, containers, and IaC.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and translate complex engineering into business value.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
