Field Service Engineer- MD

Overview

Field Service Engineer - MD coordinates and executes field service for Covaris instruments, acting as a first point of contact for technical support and handling on-site repair and preventive maintenance.

What you'll do

• Coordinate field service activities including instrument installation.
• Perform on-site and depot repair and preventive maintenance visits.
• Communicate with customer accounts for scheduling and service follow-up.
• Use CRM to maintain service records, warranty/service plans, and account contacts.
• Initiate and complete service requests via the CRM database and follow up as required.
• Provide field and depot service reporting.
• Respond to technical support via telephone and email.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in a Scientific, Engineering, or Technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Service environments.
• Ability to work with customers via phone or face-to-face.
• Interest in or advantage: experience in a laboratory/clinical environment.
• Familiarity with electronic testing procedures.
• Computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and internet competence.
• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.

• Remote position based in North Carolina or Maryland with travel as needed.
