Field Service Engineer Spectroscopy

Overview

Field Service Engineer (Spectroscopy) supporting customers with on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions.

What you'll do

• Install and optimize hardware, software, and network products and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance.
• Proactively respond to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruptions.
• Deliver fully integrated solutions that may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
• Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree within the science field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position or as an end user.
• Preferred experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving Agilent Atomic Spectroscopy and Molecular Spectroscopy products.
• Clear, respectful, timely verbal and written communication.
• Active, valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to 25% within the territory.
• Consent to participate in and meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements.

• Territory is multistate with primary coverage in MD, DC, and VA; ideal candidate resides within the territory.
• Option to work remotely is available.
• Full-time weekly schedule; shift is day.
• Travel includes daily, overnight, and weekend travel as needed.
