Finance Analytics SAP BW, S4HANA & Datasphere Developer - RDT ERP

Overview

Support the delivery, maintenance and enhancement of workforce and workforce-related cost analytics solutions within the FAP&AI OPEX Workforce Reporting team, with a shift from SAP BW/4HANA environments toward a cloud-native data architecture.

What you'll do

• Deliver and maintain scalable cloud data models and data products within SAP BW 7.5, SAP DataSphere and Snowflake, aligned with Data Mesh principles and workforce-specific requirements.
• Analyze and translate complex workforce and HR reporting requirements from business stakeholders into technical solutions.
• Develop advanced business intelligence solutions for workforce analytics, integrating data from SAP BW 7.5, SAP DataSphere, Snowflake and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Manage and support the planned migration of SAP BW 7.5 to SAP DataSphere, ensuring continuity and performance of existing reporting solutions during transition.
• Use Python and SQL as primary development languages to build data pipelines, transformations and automations for workforce data.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure the accuracy, performance and usability of workforce data solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, global business and IT teams within large-scale Agile project environments.
• Provide ongoing product support, troubleshooting and optimization recommendations to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Stay current with best practices in cloud data warehousing, decentralized data architecture and workforce analytics.

What you'll need

• Several years of experience in cloud data warehousing and data engineering, ideally with an understanding of SAP BW environments and migration strategies to modern cloud architectures.
• Proficiency in SAP BW 7.5 and SAP DataSphere, with hands-on experience developing and maintaining reporting solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse platform.
• Deep conceptual and practical understanding of Data Mesh concepts, including data decentralization, data-as-a-product and federated governance.
• Strong development skills in SQL and Python for data engineering, modeling and scripting.
• Proven experience in product delivery and maintenance within cloud data platforms, supporting both new development and ongoing operations.
• Proven track record of operating within Agile frameworks (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe, Scrum-at-Scale).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to bridge complex IT concepts with business requirements in workforce/HR domains.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to independently engage and influence cross-functional global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with SAP BW/4HANA.
• Experience integrating data from multiple SAP systems (e.g., SAP BW/4HANA alongside other SAP BW instances).
