Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst

Overview

Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst role supporting functional cost accounting, allocation, and reporting within ABB Finance, reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist.

What you'll do

• Account for, allocate, and report functional costs.
• Advise on invoice booking and create month-end accruals.
• Manage hosted resources charges.
• Monitor cost through variance analysis of budget vs. forecast.
• Identify deviations and take appropriate action, such as actuals invoicing and reclass.
• Provide inputs to business partnering for forecast/budgeting and trend analysis.
• Create POs in compliance with ABB P2P policies (e.g., MDF codes, correct GL, CC).
• Perform GRIR ageing, vendor ageing, and customer ageing analysis.
• Ensure IG is complete and accurate.

What you'll need

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, CMA (US), MBA Finance, or MCOM.
• 1-3 years' experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with MS Office.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in SAP modules.
