Forward-Deployed AI Engineer

Overview

Build and deploy production generative AI and agentic systems for enterprise customers. Own solutions end to end, from identifying customer problems and shaping architecture through deployment and measurable impact.

What you'll do

• Work with customers to identify high-value opportunities and translate business needs into technical direction.
• Architect and build production AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, orchestration, tool use, memory, state, and RAG.
• Develop APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and distributed systems for reliable operation at scale.
• Lead solutions from discovery through deployment and measurable impact.
• Own evaluation, observability, security, reliability, latency, scalability, and cost.
• Communicate technical concepts and work with senior engineers, business executives, and client stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience building and operating sophisticated software systems.
• Expertise in Python, backend systems, APIs, databases, distributed systems, system design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building production LLM and agent systems using orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory, state, retrieval, and multistep workflows.
• Experience with production retrieval systems, including embeddings, vector and hybrid search, reranking, evaluation, and retrieval-quality diagnosis.
• Experience owning complex systems from architecture through deployment and scale.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, earn trust, challenge assumptions, and communicate with senior technical and business leaders.

Details

• Hybrid work model with three days per week in the office.
• Based in Bengaluru or Hyderabad; candidates must currently live in one of these cities.
