Frontend Engineer

Overview

Remote Frontend Engineer role in India building and optimizing user interfaces and enterprise web applications for SupplyHouse.com.

What you'll do

• Build new UI components and libraries for use in applications.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with product design, product management, and backend teams to align tech and design.
• Review code written by other front-end developers.
• Apply development best practices including accessibility and privacy compliance.
• Implement SEO best practices and stay current with front-end technologies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or 6+ years equivalent experience without a degree.
• Responsive web development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript, accessibility (a11y), and Node.js.
• 3+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
• 2+ years of server-side rendering (SSR) using Express.js.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and API testing/documentation (Postman).
• Experience with state management and data flow, including the Redux ecosystem.
• Experience translating Figma designs/prototypes into pixel-perfect, cross-browser markup.

• Full-time role, remote from India, Monday through Friday with scheduled overlap hours.
