Full-Stack Developer, AVP

Overview

Full Stack Developer (Assistant Vice President) on an Agile squad at Deutsche Bank in Pune, delivering features end to end from the Java layer to the browser layer.

What you'll do

• Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks.
• Develop and unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Perform peer code review.
• Actively participate in squad activities and ceremonies, e.g. daily stand-up/scrum meeting.
• Actively participate in and Dev chapter lead activities.
• Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management).
• Collaborate with other squad members to achieve the squad/sprint objectives.
• Report progress and update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence).
• Manage individual task priorities and deliverables.
• Be responsible for the quality of solutions you provide.
• Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum Master.

What you'll need

• Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
• Experience with the Spring framework, ideally Spring Boot.
• Experience with AngularJS and Angular 2+.
• Experience with DevOps tools, e.g. GIT, TeamCity, Maven, SONAR.
• Good understanding of REST architectural style, MicroServices concepts and technologies.
• Experience with software design patterns and UML design.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Experience with distributed/multi-location teams.
• Familiarity with Agile team management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Understand and promote Agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, Courage).
• Good communication skills.
• Pro-active team player.
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organised teams.
• Professional knowledge of English.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Camel framework.
• Knowledge/experience of Angular 5, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix Zuul, OpenID Connect (Oracle).
• Knowledge/experience of SQL, XPath, XQuery, SOAP, REST.
• UI technologies: HTML, HTTP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML 5 and Web 2.0.
• XML, XSD and XSLT transformation and design, XML parsers.
• WebLogic Application Server and/or Tomcat servlet engine.
• Relational databases: Oracle 11g or 12c.
• Development tools: Eclipse, Maven, Ant.
• Backbase CXP.
