Full-Stack Engineer - Productions

Overview

Build the systems behind Productions, ElevenLabs' managed services wing that combines AI audio tools with human experts to deliver human-edited dubs, audiobooks and more in 15+ languages.

What you'll do

• Own a scope within the human data platform: the labelling and evaluation platform research uses to improve models, including shipping new task editors, improving reliability, catching misuse and building metrics for higher-quality data pipelines.
• Build and maintain the core productions engine: the backend services that run production workflows.
• Build the editor platform: professional editing tools for production teams, developed in Rust.
• Lead projects when the opportunity arises.

What you'll need

• Strong backend engineering experience, ideally in functional programming languages like Rust, with a full-stack focus on designing UI systems.
• Experience shipping and running production systems end to end.
• Experience making systems reliable and scalable, such as internal platforms, workflow or task engines, or data pipelines.
• Comfortable switching between building a new tool or editor and hardening the platform underneath it.
• Opinionated and able to defend ideas, but willing to do unglamorous work and hungry to deliver.

Nice to have

• Experience building editor or UI-heavy professional tools, with a systems-level understanding of what sits underneath.
• Experience with data labelling or annotation platforms, or managing crowdsourced workforces.

Details

• Remote-first; can be executed from anywhere in Europe and the US East Coast.
• Must be able to operate in GMT-5 to GMT+1 timezones.
• Optional work from ElevenLabs offices in London, New York, Dublin, Amsterdam or Warsaw.
