Full Stack Software Engineer (Frontend Focus)

Overview

Full Stack Software Engineer with a frontend focus, building and enhancing modern web applications and backend services used at scale within a large, collaborative engineering team.

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain modern web applications and backend services.
• Develop frontend solutions using React or Angular, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript foundations.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software.
• Contribute to testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines and production support.
• Help drive engineering excellence through secure coding, automation and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Strong software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript (mandatory).
• Experience with React or Angular and modern frontend engineering.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices and frontend-backend integration.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of clean code practices, SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• Strong unit testing mindset and experience with automated testing.
• Experience with API, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated deployments and Docker.
• Awareness of secure coding practices and API security concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to understand systems end-to-end and work across the full software lifecycle.
• Clear communication of technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ownership mindset with a focus on quality, reliability and production outcomes.
• Curiosity, adaptability and a passion for continuous learning.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code.
• Contract testing and test automation frameworks.
• SRE concepts, including observability, SLIs and SLOs.
• API-led and domain-driven design.
• Experience using AI-assisted development, testing, debugging or code review tools.
