Overview

Build frontend and backend features for a cloud-based video monitoring platform. The role focuses on scalable architecture, high-traffic systems, and engineering input into product decisions and roadmaps.

What you'll do

• Build frontend and backend components.
• Design efficient architectures for customer requirements.
• Build highly scalable systems handling high traffic.
• Resolve performance and concurrency issues.
• Propose solutions to difficult engineering problems.
• Guide product decisions and team roadmaps from an engineering perspective.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js or React.
• Experience developing complex, heavy-load backend pipelines.
• Experience with message queue systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS.
• Experience designing and maintaining OpenAPI specifications.
• Strong collaborative teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with resilient, high-throughput distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing for performance optimization.
• Comfort working asynchronously in distributed, remote-first teams.
