Global Consultant, Medical Affairs

Overview

Putnam is seeking an experienced strategy consultant with existing life sciences experience and, where possible, deep domain expertise. The Global Consultant will be hired into a defined Putnam practice and fully dedicated to the end-to-end project lifecycle, providing continuity and hands-on delivery support.

What you'll do

• Work in teams to solve complex business problems for clients.
• Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop recommendations.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to client teams and senior stakeholders.
• Support implementation of recommendations and work with client teams to achieve impact.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across teams and geographies.

• 5+ years of relevant life science consulting or strategy experience.
• Hands-on, execution-oriented approach with comfort working directly in data, analyses, and models.
• Ability to commit to and support defined projects or practice portfolios over time.

Nice to have

• Preferred qualifications include PharmD, MD/MBBS, or PhD in life sciences.
• Familiarity with topics such as product strategy, portfolio prioritisation, market access, commercial excellence, or growth strategy.
