Golang backend Sr. Dev

Overview

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud-native backend microservices using Go, gRPC, REST, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.

What you'll do

• Develop idiomatic, efficient Go services; use goroutines/channels appropriately; implement error handling, configuration, logging, and dependency management.
• Design service boundaries, APIs, dependencies, resiliency patterns, health checks, graceful shutdown, and scalable distributed services.
• Develop gRPC services with Protocol Buffers and REST APIs; define contracts, versioning, error handling, and API documentation.
• Develop data access layers; write optimized SQL; design indexes, transactions, and constraints; manage schema migrations and query performance.
• Create table-driven unit tests, mocks, fixtures, integration/API tests, and automated test execution in CI/CD.
• Deploy and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes; work with Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, probes, scaling, and resource limits.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, improve reliability and performance, and collaborate with DevOps/SRE.

What you'll need

• 5–8+ years overall software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Go experience.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
