Senior Java Backend Developer

Overview

Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Contribute to application systems analysis and programming activities.

What you'll do

• Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
• Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Design, build, and maintain applications based on a microservices architecture.
• Debug complex systems using analytical and problem-solving skills.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-8 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java.
• Deep understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Proven hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining applications based on a microservices architecture.
• Strong expertise in Java concurrency, including thread management, synchronization, and concurrent data structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for debugging complex systems.
• Experience with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with both SQL, such as MySQL and Oracle, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architecture, such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Understanding of API design principles, including REST and gRPC.
