About the Job

We are seeking a Gold Loan Officer to support customers through the gold loan process while ensuring accurate evaluations, compliant documentation, and consistent loan sales performance. This is a Full-time role with an OnSite work arrangement, ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, has strong decision-making skills, and can deliver great service while meeting daily targets. You will play a key role in helping customers access quick, reliable financing by assessing gold value, explaining loan terms clearly, and driving growth through proactive sales efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct gold appraisal assessments with accuracy, following established valuation procedures and quality checks.
• Process gold loan applications from intake to disbursement, ensuring correct documentation and required compliance steps.
• Explain loan plans, tenure, interest rates, and repayment terms in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
• Handle customer inquiries and maintain strong service standards, ensuring timely and professional support.
• Drive gold loan sales by identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate loan options, and converting leads.
• Maintain records of transactions and gold inventory documentation with attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve application issues, ensure smooth workflow, and meet operational KPIs.
• Uphold risk and compliance guidelines to minimize errors and ensure ethical customer dealings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven ability in gold apprasisal and basic valuation practices (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Knowledge and experience handling gold loan processes, documentation, and customer verification.
• Strong sales mindset with experience in gold loan sales, lead follow-up, and target achievement.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain financial options confidently.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort working with structured processes.
• Basic computer literacy for record keeping and process documentation.
