Hardware and Silicon validation Intern

Overview

Hardware and silicon validation internship supporting post-silicon validation of SSD chipsets and storage SoCs at Marvell.

What you'll do

• Design and execute post-silicon validation tests for SSD chipsets during the R&D cycle.
• Develop, port and execute bare-metal firmware to validate storage SoCs.
• Perform pre- and post-silicon testing of SoC functionality.
• Review, create and maintain test plans, test procedures and test results documentation.
• Develop validation tools, test frameworks and benchmarking applications.
• Analyze test results and generate professional validation reports.
• Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers supporting customer engagements.
• Collaborate with test engineers to support test development for mass production.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Master's/Ph.D. degree.
• Knowledge in C/C++, ARM assembly, and 32/64-bit ARM CPU architecture.
• Firmware development under bare-metal and/or Linux environment, including debugging on SoCs for embedded systems.
• Ability to handle lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexible, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.
