Overview
Lead hardware engineering for next-generation routing and switching platforms, taking products from concept through production with a focus on PCB design, bring-up, testing, and sustaining support.
What you'll do
- Own technical deliverables and documentation for networking products.
- Review schematics, bills of materials, placement, routing, lab results, and compliance results.
- Develop specifications, implement designs, release PCB Gerbers and bills of materials, and perform bring-up testing.
- Perform design validation testing, fault analysis, and new-part qualification.
- Lead cross-functional and supplier collaboration for product development.
- Design logic using CPLDs and FPGAs.
- Provide product sustaining support.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience taking product platforms from concept to production.
- Proficiency in high-speed board design, bring-up, and debugging.
- Experience with DDR-4/DDR-5, PCIe, SPI, XGMII, XFI, and XAUI buses.
- Strong laboratory skills with high-end test and measurement equipment.
- Knowledge of CPU and memory architectures and system-level design considerations.
- Experience with CPLD and FPGA design or verification.
Nice to have
- Experience with EMI, EMC, safety, and environmental regulatory compliance for telecom systems.
- Good industry contacts covering current trends, practices, and innovations.

- Hybrid role requiring an average of two days per week in an HPE office.
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
