IAM Operations Associate-Cyber Managed Services - Operate

Overview

Support identity and access management activities within PwC's Cyber Managed Services practice, helping respond to security incidents, review access-related activity, and track issues through resolution as part of the Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Monitor security alerts and log activity to identify potential cyber incidents.
• Analyze indicators of compromise and support incident triage across client environments.
• Perform incident response tasks, containment steps, and remediation actions for identified threats.
• Review network, endpoint, and identity events to support vulnerability and threat detection efforts.
• Document incident findings, response actions, and case updates in tracking systems.
• Apply cybersecurity frameworks, operational procedures, and managed services tools to support day-to-day security operations.
• Assist with forensic review, threat intelligence collection, and evidence gathering during investigations.
• Communicate case status and technical observations clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems.
• At least one of the following: one or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (e.g., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials.
• Supporting identity and access management operations in cyber managed services settings.
• Applying log analysis, threat detection, and incident response plan execution.
• Using security operations center tools and network security platforms.
• Communicating clearly while adapting to varied client and team needs.
• Building commercial awareness through feedback, reflection, and continuous learning.
