IND Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions for enterprise insurance operations.

What you'll do

• Lead software design, development, and implementation across the full development lifecycle.
• Define technical requirements and project scope with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, modernization, and system improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design, API, and deployment documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support security and compliance requirements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software development experience focused on enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
