Indirect Procurement Capital Sourcing

Overview

Own indirect procurement of capital materials, developing and deploying the commodity strategy for the CapEx category to drive optimal cost and conditions (commercial, quality, delivery).

What you'll do

• Develop, plan, monitor and execute the capital material category strategy.
• Implement and execute CapEx commodity sourcing strategies to effectively leverage capital indirect spend.
• Develop commodity strategies aligned with latest internal and external environmental, market and economic factors, and build and maintain organizational consensus and alignment to them.
• Negotiate and manage key strategic supplier agreements, cost negotiations and relationships.
• Develop, deploy and manage all related contracts.
• Drive all defined and required steps and actions to fulfil requirements of the supplier management process.
• Collaborate with other functions, corporate ledgers and stakeholders for sourcing and rationalization.
• Focus on supplier consolidation and supplier payment term improvement, and optimize delivery terms.
• Responsible for supplier reduction and tail spend suppliers.
• Maintain supply continuity via risk identification and mitigation.
• Develop positive, ethical relationships with suppliers, demonstrating Eaton's ethics, values and philosophy, and adhere to Eaton's Code of Conduct.
• Ensure the monthly reporting/BSC update is completed on time.
• Drive cost out to achieve SCM objectives and ensure CODB update is completed on time.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• 8-10 years in Supply Chain Management.
• Experience preferably in indirect sourcing across categories such as Professional Services, CAPEX, Facilities, MRO, Energy, Packaging, IT and Telecom.
• Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
• Conflict management, negotiation, market analysis.
• Ability to work under tough situations.
• High impact communication.
• Global exposure.
• Tech savvy.

Nice to have

• Any supply management certification such as CPSM or CSM.
