Procurement Specialist

Overview

Procurement Specialist in the PDS, Work Dynamics team, responsible for sourcing and procurement activities across several sites in different cities, acting as subject matter expert for procurement advice to stakeholders in India.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for the PDS Central Procurement Team in India.
• Lead RFPs, perform bid analysis, negotiate contracts and prepare recommendations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting and documentation.
• Identify risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, JLL policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Support the use of the e-procurement application, system and methodologies.
• Support India Bravo adoption, implementation and training of technology initiatives for the distributed PDS teams, including vendor management processes such as registration (Phase 01 and Phase 02) and maintaining a clean sheet on the regional DQE dashboard.
• Oversee the use of Bravo on projects and work with project and procurement leads to drive adoption and compliance across all projects.
• Make presentations capturing procurement goals and status against the roadmap.
• Work with the PDS cost management team and the Central Procurement Team on project procurement, cost management and cost benchmarking.
• Gather, track and maintain accuracy of relevant information to set targets and identify opportunities for improvement to the defined category strategy.
• Prepare high-quality papers, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement governance.

What you'll need

• At least 5 to 7 years of practice applying detailed know-how of procurement facets, principles and approaches, including supplier marketplace, key drivers and levers, supply base and balance of power, spend category, and sourcing management and technology.
• Good command of written and oral English with superior people skills.
• Proficiency in all MS applications and procurement systems.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills to derive the best cost model and solution to meet business requirements and objectives.
