Procurement Specialist I

Overview

Execute procurement of assets and accessories for global locations, supporting cost reduction, timely delivery, inventory control, lead-time reduction, and customer focus.

What you'll do

• Prepare purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders according to policy and negotiated terms.
• Audit ERP data, including inventory levels, purchase orders, costs, quantities, and lead times.
• Process orders and coordinate material delivery while preventing overstock.
• Collaborate with internal partners and global teams to resolve requirements and issues.
• Recommend process, system, reporting, and order-accuracy improvements using supporting data.
• Monitor vendor performance and supply-chain activities to optimize material supply.
• Support billing accuracy, training materials, process documentation, and team training.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 8 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with MRP systems, office/document software, databases, and multiple platforms.
• Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, including pivot tables, functions, and automation tools.
• Experience with process improvement and cost savings in corporate purchasing.
• Clear communication, planning, organization, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Ability to work professionally with cross-functional global teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent working relationships with vendors, customers, and internal and external teams.
