Information Security Analyst

Overview

Information Security Analyst in the Identity and Access Management & Governance team at Deutsche Bank India, governing IDAM activities and processes against the bank's Information Security Policies.

What you'll do

• Co-ordinate the activities of the team and ensure accurate, timely and quality delivery of services within SLA.
• Ensure quality of services at all levels of operations while maintaining standards.
• Apply knowledge of IT Security standards and policies to identify associated risks in processes.
• Promote an environment of high staff motivation and a teamwork culture.
• Support, attend and follow up on respective team meetings.
• Identify process gaps and lead process change, simplification, automation or implementation, with end-to-end ownership for closure alongside the process manager.
• Adhere 100% to audit processes as defined and updated.
• Escalate issues in time to the appropriate levels to avoid adverse business impact.
• Cross-train available resources to ensure 100% backup within the process.
• Maintain a healthy and harmonious relationship with global colleagues.
• Assist the team in decision making and take complete ownership of situations.
• Generate reports on periodic information about inquiries received.
• Train new recruits and provide knowledge of the process.
• Create, review, sign off and train on KOP/SOP documentation.
• Liaise with the business for escalations or process improvements.

What you'll need

• Ideally a minimum of 4 years of ID Admin experience, with 4-6 years of overall experience.
• Good knowledge of ID Administration.
• Good knowledge of Governance & Compliance.
• Exposure to information security concepts and policies.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong and proven leadership qualities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset.
• Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment.
• Flexible, keen to learn, and capable of leading and motivating a team for optimum, error-free production.
• Risk awareness and initiative; self-starter who initiates process improvement where necessary.
• Graduate with good academic records.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows, applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge in audit.
• ITIL V3 Foundation certification.
• ISO 27001 LA certification.
