Java Developer

About the Job

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our client's team on a full-time basis with remote work flexibility. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services that power modern applications. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders in an Agile environment, translate requirements into clean, testable code, and help ensure reliable performance across our systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based back-end services using SpringBoot.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end and internal services.
• Work with databases, including MySQL and MongoDB, to model data and optimize queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features through Agile methodologies (planning, reviews, and iteration).
• Use Git to manage source control, support code reviews, and maintain branching workflows.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in debugging, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
• Document technical decisions and contribute to improving code quality and development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Working knowledge of SpringBoot for building and deploying back-end applications.
• Experience with Databases, specifically MySQL, and familiarity with MongoDB.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices and collaborative software development.
• Proficiency with Git for version control, collaboration, and code review workflows.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
