Junior Engineer

Overview

Junior Engineer role focused on manufacturing and assembly activities with safety, quality, and lean process responsibilities in a wind turbine industry setting.

What you'll do

• Comply with EHS regulations and understand hazards and risk assessment.
• Maintain safe working conditions by reporting safety concerns proactively.
• Perform manufacturing and assembly operations using procedures, bills of materials, and work instructions.
• Maintain daily production output aligned with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and report any non-conformance.
• Apply lean concepts such as 5S, standard work, Kaizen, and poka-yoke to help resolve issues.
• Use quality methods (e.g., 7 QC tools, RCA, PFMEA) to improve quality and process efficiency.

What you'll need

• High school diploma with an electrical/mechanical background (or local equivalent).
• 2 years of manufacturing experience in the wind turbine industry.
• Experience operating heavy lift EOT cranes.
• Ability to follow safety-first and a zero-defect mindset.
• Basic understanding of lean concepts (5S, standard work, Kaizen, poka-yoke).
• Basic understanding of 7 QC tools, RCA, and PFMEA.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.

Nice to have

• 2 or more years of related manufacturing experience in the wind turbine industry.
