Junior Financial Analyst- Cost Accounting Solution

Overview

Junior Financial Analyst role in Cost Accounting Solutions, based in Chennai, supporting Flex's finance team on cost accounting activities.

What you'll do

• Perform all cost accounting activities that are defined.
• Understand the corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics.
• Implement time-saving and cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements.
• Work along with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
• Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclass in ERP.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest process and document them in DMS.
• Learn and serve as a backup for the cost accountant.

What you'll need

• Basic level knowledge in MS applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Good team player with analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn and deploy the skills learnt in day-to-day processes.
• B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com or MBA (Finance).
• Freshers or 0-2 years of experience in relevant field.
• MS Office good knowledge.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understand and interpret accounting policies.
