Lead Design Verification Engineer

Overview

Lead design verification for an FPGA to ensure the design meets specification requirements across functional verification, simulation, and pre-silicon debug.

What you'll do

• Perform functional logic verification of an FPGA against specification requirements.
• Develop FPGA verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment for coverage.
• Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to verify the design.
• Analyze power and timing, replicate issues, root-cause, and debug in the pre-silicon environment.
• Find failing tests and implement corrective measures to resolve failures.
• Collaborate with FPGA architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex features.
• Document verification strategy and drive technical reviews of plans and proofs.

What you'll need

• Have a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Have 8+ years of technical experience.
• Have related experience in pre-silicon validation/verification.
• Use OVM/UVM and SystemVerilog with constrained random verification methodologies.
