Job description

Overview

Lead the hands-on design of brand and communications materials across internal, client-facing, executive, event, digital, and sales enablement channels for Candescent's Brand & Communications team.

What you'll do

  • Create polished visual solutions across digital, print, presentation, event, environmental, sales enablement, and internal communications projects.
  • Design executive presentations, sales and marketing decks, one-pagers, ebooks, infographics, newsletters, social graphics, event materials, signage, and internal communications visuals.
  • Translate complex, content-heavy, or abstract information into clear, engaging, and visually compelling communications.
  • Elevate layouts, typography, hierarchy, imagery, icons, charts, and data visualizations so materials are easy to understand and on brand.
  • Apply and extend Candescent brand standards across all assigned work, including typography, color, layout, iconography, imagery, presentation systems, and data visualization.
  • Help maintain a consistent visual experience across internal and external channels.
  • Use established templates and systems appropriately, and identify opportunities to improve usability, scalability, and consistency.
  • Spot and correct brand drift, formatting inconsistencies, visual clutter, and production issues before materials are delivered.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for digital, print, presentation, large-format, and event applications.
  • Proof work carefully for alignment, spacing, hierarchy, accuracy, pagination, export settings, image quality, and brand compliance.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines at once while maintaining a high standard of craft and attention to detail.
  • Respond quickly to feedback, incorporate revisions thoughtfully, and deliver final assets that require minimal rework.
  • Partner with Brand & Communications team members and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify objectives, understand audiences, and translate business needs into effective visual communications.
  • Collaborate with US-based stakeholders and global team members through clear communication, organized handoffs, and reliable follow-through.
  • Work with agencies, vendors, freelancers, or production partners when needed, providing files, feedback, specifications, and guidance.

What you'll need

  • 10+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an in-house creative team, agency, corporate brand team, B2B, fintech, SaaS, or enterprise environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design execution across presentations, print, digital, sales enablement, events, internal communications, and brand storytelling materials.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Advanced PowerPoint design skills, including executive-level presentations, slide systems, master templates, visual hierarchy, charts, diagrams, and content-heavy storytelling.
  • Strong typography, layout, composition, information design, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of brand systems and how to apply them consistently across multiple channels, audiences, and formats.
  • Strong production knowledge, including file preparation, print production, vendor coordination, export specifications, and large-format applications.
  • Experience turning complex or technical subject matter into clear, polished, visually engaging communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver high-quality work on deadline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly and professionally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, Fine Arts, or a related field; equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting financial services, technology, B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software brands.
  • Experience designing for executive, client, consultant, partner, or sales audiences.
  • Experience with Figma, Canva, After Effects, motion graphics, web design, or digital campaign tools.
  • Experience collaborating across geographies and time zones.

Details

  • Location: Bengaluru, India (office-based).
  • Hands-on design role, not a review-only or coordination role.
