Lead Frontend Engineer

Overview

Lead Frontend Engineer responsible for leading frontend development and people management, and for setting the direction of web platform frontend architecture.

What you'll do

• Manage and mentor a group of frontend engineers.
• Define, evolve, and maintain the design system.
• Guide architectural decisions and lead key technical initiatives.
• Collaborate as the primary interface between frontend, product, design, and backend teams.
• Promote clean, maintainable code through code reviews and process improvements.
• Encourage innovation, experimentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of frontend development experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or engineering management experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
• Strong experience with state management frameworks.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization including Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, and server-side rendering strategies.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms (preferably Optimizely CMS or Sanity CMS) including data modeling and integration.
