Lead Information Security Engineer, ITC

Overview

Lead Information Security Engineer role on Nike’s Security Technology Management team (NEST), reporting to the Director of Cyber Security Engineering at India Technology Center (ITC).

What you'll do

• Translate strategic roadmaps and leadership direction into tactical and operational processes, procedures, and tasks.
• Assess, analyze, and optimize operational tasks, functions, and processes.
• Mentor, coach, and provide hands-on technical and tactical expertise to a 24x7 security engineering team.
• Support the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of security controls to protect systems and data.
• Partner with Cyber Defense, Data Protection, Windows Client/Server Platform, and Cloud Security/Automation teams.
• Determine root cause and provide relevant solutions to problems.

What you'll need

• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills across 2 or more listed capabilities/toolsets.
• Experience leveraging cloud, automation, and scripting as delivery methods.
• Ability to guide the team and provide technical expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills adjusted for different audiences.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Independent daily decision-making capability.

Nice to have

• Relevant industry certifications for email security, endpoint security, network security, or VPN.
