Overview
Lead Product Security Engineer responsible for operational and engineering execution of Tekion’s cloud security program across cloud-native products, infrastructure, platforms, and data services.
What you'll do
- Lead day-to-day cloud security operations across AWS and Azure, including intake through closure.
- Define operating rhythms, runbooks, ownership models, dashboards, and executive metrics for cloud risk and remediation progress.
- Serve as the cloud security lead during cloud-related incidents alongside SOC and incident response teams.
- Facilitate end-to-end closure of cloud vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, identity risks, data exposures, and control gaps with owners.
- Drive cloud security design reviews and launch-readiness assessments for new products and platforms.
- Own hands-on operation and optimization of CSPM/DSPM capabilities, including onboarding, policy tuning, and posture reporting.
- Provide technical direction and people leadership for cloud security engineers.
What you'll need
- 10–15 years of experience in cloud security and related engineering roles with technical leadership responsibilities.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure security (IAM, networking, containers/Kubernetes, encryption, secrets, logging, monitoring, IaC).
- Operational experience with CSPM/CNAPP and practical exposure to DSPM operations (data discovery/classification, access analysis, exposure remediation).
- Experience supporting cloud incident response with SOC teams and coordinating incident actions.
- Strong vulnerability-management and SLA governance/exception management/remediation-closure experience.
- People-management exposure or demonstrated mentoring/coordinating and influencing without authority.
- Strong scripting/automation capability using Python, Bash, Terraform, policy-as-code, or equivalent technologies.
