Lead Software Engineer

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for automation in Wells Fargo’s SRE & Automation product portfolio, owning and driving technical strategy and implementations across multiple automation initiatives.

What you'll do

• Lead complex technology initiatives with broad companywide impact.
• Develop and apply standards and companywide engineering best practices.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions for projects and programs.
• Review and analyze large-scale solutions for business and technical objectives.
• Make decisions on technologies and frameworks and influence architecture.
• Lead projects/teams and provide peer mentorship.
• Own design, development, testing, and deployment for software implementations.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on microservices development using VB.Net/C#, ASP.NET, Angular/React, Java, MS SQL & Mongo DB.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript technologies (AJAX, jQuery, Angular/React).
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) including model building/training and hyperparameter tuning.
• Experience with Generative AI using RAG end-to-end pipelines including vector DBs, chunking, embedding, retrieval, and context injection.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code.
